Mission Statement

The purpose of this site is threefold:

1. To provide a place for me to experiment with website design .

2. To provide a "knowledge base" where I can store and share information.

3. To provide a resource for sharing information with my family.

I started this website in 2001 in order to learn about website design. The first thing I learned is that website design is far from easy; in fact, it is a task best left to the professionals. Even though web development software makes website entry relatively easy, it is very time consuming to plan the site and prepare the content. It is for this reason that I have not spent much time updating my site since the initial posting.

I recently became curious about ASP.NET, so I am going to begin to update my website again, as I study how to use ASP.NET. I will start with a single page of raw, somewhat crude, HTML code. (I have not yet figured out how to use ASP on my web server.) As I learn more, I will add to the content.

Bear with me in the initial phases, because the content will be extremely limited. I'll update the site as I have time and learn more about ASP.NET.
